THE NEUTRAL MANI

Well it's vacation time and what better way to start it off than with some pampering? Ever since our wedding (photo below), this neutral mani has been my go-to. Almost every time I go into the salon I find myself asking for the creamy pale pink/white nail color. I can't seem to find a color I like more. I suggest using this color in the spring and summer. It looks great with a tan! Today I'm sharing a few of my favorite colors if you'd like to try the look at home. ESSIE BALLET SLIPPERS is one of my all time favorites. You will need three coats and a nice top coat. I really like SALLY HANSEN INSTA-DRY ANTI CHIP TOP COAT. I also love ESSIE FIJI. This one definitely has a more pink undertone but still looks wonderful. If you decide to try the neutral mani let me know what you think!

P.S. If you are in the Dayton/Cincinnati/Columbus area and looking for a wedding photographer, I HIGHLY suggest Lily. We absolutely adore her. Bonus...she also travels!

IN MY SUITCASE | FUN IN THE SUN

Fun in the Sun

After being slightly absent from the blogging world for a few weeks it feels good to be back! On top of work, prepping for vacation, and the crazy up and down weather, Dan and I have started the home search process which is already proving to be more stressful than I had imagined. That is why I am looking forward to our beach trip coming up this week so much! A little R&R and sunbathing on the beach is just what this girl needs right now. I am beyond thrilled that spring has officially started and warmer days are on the way. Never have I ever been more excited to say farewell to a winter season. I am also happy to share that there are some pretty exciting things coming to the blog in the upcoming months. Stay tuned for more!

XO,

Jacqueline

Feeling Springy

Sweatshirt: Target, Denim: Old Navy, Shoes: Converse, Bag: ASOS, Bracelet: ILY Couture

After the warmer weather we have had here the past few days, I am more than ready for the official start of spring! March is the month where people start to come out of their shells again. It is so refreshing seeing things and people come back to life once the sun is out and you're able to drive with the windows down (cue "Happy" song). Since the weather can still be so unpredictable this time of year I am loving these transition pieces. To me, this look screams comfy, cozy, cute and I love it.

Spring Fever

Spring Fever

I'm sure I'm not the only one suffering from a bad case of cabin fever after the winter we've had. I am looking forward, finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! I mean after all it is March, the official start to spring. The hubs and I are heading south in a few weeks and I can't wait to enjoy a week of sunshine! Meanwhile, I am keeping myself busy with these spring style finds that I just can't get enough of. This spring I am especially loving pastels, whites, and metallics. And of course it just wouldn't be spring without some florals!
